SCHOTT® VisiLED TLS-DF Darkfield Light Stage

The SCHOTT® VisiLED TLS-DF Darkfield Light Stage is designed to provide exceptional contrast for darkfield inspection and imaging applications under stereo microscopes. Utilizing 40 high-performance white LEDs arranged in eight independently controlled segments, the TLS-DF enables users to optimize illumination direction and contrast through multiple preset lighting modes.

The segmented illumination design allows specific areas of a sample to be highlighted while minimizing unwanted reflections, making it ideal for inspecting transparent, reflective, or low-contrast specimens. The result is enhanced visibility of edges, surface defects, structures, and fine details that may be difficult to observe using conventional brightfield illumination.

As part of SCHOTT's modular VisiLED illumination system, the TLS-DF Light Stage can be configured with a variety of controllers to meet specific application requirements. A complete system consists of the LED Light Head, VisiLED Controller, Power Supply, and Power Cord, all sold separately.

Applications include electronics inspection, materials analysis, quality control, industrial manufacturing, life sciences, and other demanding stereo microscopy applications requiring high-contrast darkfield illumination.
