The Leica DM300 digital microscope comes complete with an HD screen to show a live image right above the eyepieces. The microscope comes with trinocular head, c-mount adapter, and camera with screen. The microscope head can rotate 360 degrees without having to loosen any thumbscrew. It comes with a pair of 10x/18mm FOV eyepieces. 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x oil achromat or plan achromat objectives come with this microscope standard. The fixed condenser has an iris diaphragm which is marked for the optimal setting for each objective on the microscope, this provides optimal resolution. The XY mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movements. The LED illumination provides bright and even illumination.
The camera can be output to the screen included, HDMI to another screen, or USB to a computer. When output HDMI to a monitor of your choice a mouse plugs into the top of the camera and on-board software will pop-up on your screen. It will give you the ability to adjust the camera settings and capture images / videos to a removable SD card. You can even play back captured images / videos and do a side-by-side live vs captured image. Furthermore you can add a grid and other overlays. Using the USB output method you can capture images / videos with the free software. The software also has measurement, focus stacking, and other features.
