Description

This trinocular polarizing microscope is outfitted with high quality strain-free infinity plan objectives, extreme widefield eyepieces, and a powerful 24V/100W transmitted halogen lamp. This kit also includes a 1.3MP microscope camera for providing computer preview and capture functions. The polarizing microscope includes many other features, such as a EW10X/22 eyepieces (one pair standard, three single eyepieces with special reticles), quintuple nosepiece with centerable objective mounts, five objectives (4X, 10X, 20X, 40X(S), 100X(S,Oil)), centerable bertrand lens, polarizer/analyzer, three compensators (tint plate, quarter-wave plate, and quartz wedge), centerable and rotatable stage, mechanical stage attachment, NA0.9/0.25 flip-top condenser, and a 24V/100W transmitted kohler illuminator. 
The digital camera captures still microscope images, streams live video preview to your computer, and is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux (see below for version information). The 0.37X reduction lens included gives your computer screen a wider field of view. The user-friendly software for Windows offers advanced features including Stitching, EDF (Extended Depth of Focus), video recording, and measurement functions. Live video and still image capture can be set in different resolutions simultaneously. 
This microscope is a powerful instrument polarized light applications such as mineralogical thinsections or toxicology samples.
