Eyepiece Reticles

Placed at the focal point in the eyepiece in microscopes, eyepiece reticles are clear glass inserts which allow the user to make measurements or evaluate their samples by comparing it to a pattern on the reticle. Microscope eyepiece reticles come in many different patterns including micrometer scales, crosslines, grids and special variations for certain applications.  Determining the correct size of the reticle is dependent on the eyepiece that you are using on your microscope as they vary in diameter.
