Description
The Labomed Lx500 is a beautifully designed, ergonomic, expandable, and reliable laboratory grade microscope.This complete digital package includes your choice of camera, with or without the 11.6" retina display pictured. This includes the trinocular viewing and and c-mount adapter. This microscope offers a wide field of view with the 10x/22mm eyepieces. The nosepiece is a reversed quintuple nosepiece with ball bearings. The RP2 Infinity Plan Achromat objectives provide clear and high resolution images. The microscope comes standard with 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x oil objectives however others can be added. The rackless XY mechanical stage has a ceramic insert which ensures durability and relibiligy. A fully focusable flip top condenser is standard with this microscope. Featuring kohler illumination this microscope uses and LED bulb so there are no bulb changes required. This microscope is ideal for laboratory use and can be upgraded to fluorescence, multiple viewing, or specially configured with other objectives.
You have the option to purchase this with or without the 11.6" HD retina display screen as pictured. The camera included in this system can output HDMI to a screen or USB to a computer. Purchasing this with the screen makes it an all-in-one streamlined solution. You can use your own screen or computer off to the side. Even if purchased with a screen you can output to your own screen, or USB to a computer. When using the camera in HDMI output mode a mouse is included and on-board software will pop up on the screen allowing you to adjust the camera settings, capture images / videos, replay them, and more. If you take advantage of the free software in USB mode you can capture images / videos, do annotations, measurements, extended depth of focus, stitching, and more!

With an optional ergonomic articulating head, viewing angle will conform to the user to provide a more comfortable seated posture.
A Rackless stage ensures safety and maximizes workspace. A ceramic surface promises scratch resistance during use.
True Kohler illumination and a standard flip-top condenser guarantee superb contrast from 2.5x to 100x magnification. Lighting options include 30W Halogen (approx. 500 hours) and LED (approx. 100,000 hours).
