National BTW1-214-RLED Digital WiFi Tablet Microscope

This National Optical BTW1-214-RLED is a digital tablet WiFi monocular compound microscope with a wide range of features for educational use.  The digital microscope transmits live images to iOS or Android devices. Images can be shared to WiFi tablets or wireless laptops. High-speed, high-resolution images are now easy to share.

• Objective Lenses: DIN standard 4x, 10x, 40xR, 100xR objectives.  All objectives are achromatic, parfocalled, parcentered and color-coded. Microscope objectives are mounted in ball-bearing quad turret in reverse position.
• Eyepieces: Monocular head holds widefield 10x / 18mm eyepiece with pointer. Accepts 20mm diameter reticle.
• Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.
• Specimen Stage: Large 135mm x 135mm (5.25" x 5.25") stage with professional quality, low profile mechanical specimen holder with low-position coaxial X-Y controls.
• Condenser: 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with spiral focusing mount, iris diaphragm, swing-out filter holder.
• Focusing:  Coarse and fine focus knobs with coaxial focusing. Stage moves up and down. Slip clutch prevents damage to focusing system. Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift. 
• Camera: 5mp (2592 x 1944 pixels) CMOS camera with 1/2.5" chip.
• Tablet: 8" tablet screen preloaded with Motic Apps. 4GB Micro SD card and slot. WiFi signal distributes images to nearby tablets.
• Software: Free MotiConnect App available from App or Google Play Stores. Optional downloadable Motic software operates on Windows XP or MAC OSX.
• Illumination: LED light rated to 50,000 hours of life. Batteries allow up to 500 recharges from 3 AAA batteries. Battery charger included. Rheostat intensity control. Single 8-hour charge allows up to 50 hours of use.
